	B-17 EXHAUST VALVE/CLOCK DESK SET The Cyclone 9 Engine has two valves per cylinder, set at 45 degrees in the Hemispherical combustion chamber. The Exhaust Valve is Sodium cooled with a much larger stem diameter to keep the valve cool and increase reliability in these high performance engines We have mounted the valve at the same angle on the Walnut base. These artifacts are only lightly cleaned and polished to show the wear patterns. These are ideal for a desk display. Base is 8-1/2" wide X 4" deep; sculpture is 6 " high.
